Mend Vauxhall Vectra DTI Out Wont 2000

My Vectra cut out and won't start 2000 DTI?

Hi, driving down the road the other day, revs went down and cut out. Thought i had ran out of fuel. Checked my oil dipstick and its bone dry. I have filled it up and still no luck. My cars only done 54k, and am hoping its not the fuel pump, at the relative low mileage.
