My water pump seems to be jammed this morning. I have tried to turn the spindle(?) using the coin slot at the side, but it seems to be jammed solid using finger presssure. I have in mind using a pair of pliers to get a better turning force, but I don't want to make matters worse by forcing it in the wrong direction. Should I turn it in the direction of the arrow?
Any other comments woud be useful. The pump is only about three years old.
if it broke your not going to hurt it any more, get it turning any way you can , most systems don't have the isolating valves you need.

The pump has probably seized and may need repacing,it`s an easy job to replace without draining system down ( valve either side to shut off water)
Replacent approx £40 Screwfix ! make sure replacement same 5 or 6 metre head. hope this helps.
