Hotpoint WMA54 Door Lock Keeps Flashing?

Got a hotpoint WMA54 Washing Machine. Earlier today was making a racket so tapped the door and i saw a flash come from the where the door locks and all the eletric blew in the house. Not washing machine doesn't work. Door lock light keeps flashing. Is there a door sensor or something that needs replacing ?

Wish I had seen this earlier. The door sensor is special it doubles as a lock for the door. The switch is probably alright but either way it has almost certainly blown the PCB (control panel) as there are no fuses to protect it. The PCB alone will set you back about £95 if you add on the cost of the sensor? If you are a dab hand at repair I would look at the underside of the PCB for burn marks before ordering spares.
