sir my bpl push button telephone was not ringing ringer section problem please rectifai my problem

i m a telephone engg.
plz check your ringer section .
then check low value resistance( 1-100 ohm) in ringer section ;
you call your phone number short any resistance in the off hook position;
check your ringer volume switch or short the switch;
and replace your 8 pin ic (2418/1240)
