Mend Fisher & Paykel smartdrive9 pride Wrong Washing Powder

Whats wrong with my Fisher & Paykel smartdrive9 pride?

clothes in, washing powder in, close lid, push power button, select wash cycle, temp, water level, spin speed, push the start button, water starts to fill then stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, then machine starts to beep and lights come on, 8 lights in total, from left end, out, out, on, out, on, out, on, on. Any ideas what the problem is?

Fisher & Paykel Fisher & Paykel smartdrive9 pride Household Appliances, Washing Machines Wrong Washing Powder

Those lights on represent error code 43 which is a fault with the out of balance switch. Turn power off at wall. Open control panel, remove one screw holding main control module down at front of module. Lift module up and you will find the out of balance switch underneath the module on right hand side. Replace the microswitch. It is probably stuck with corrosion.
