Mend Zanussi Power Problem

How can i fix my zanussi zwx1605 washing machine . ?

There appears to be power problem as there is no indication of any powere getting to the machine . ive checked the plug,fuse and also that there is a circuit to the main push switch . The switch also seems to be operating as ive checked it . Neon Light not indicating at all showing no power on ?
You would normally hear the solinoid engage on pressing the power button howevre there is nothing at all .. any suggestions please ??

check the continuity with a multimeter of the live and then the neutral wire from the plug to the on/off switch then through the switch on to the pcb.suspect fuse,actual plug broken internally (chop off and fit a new one),mains suppressor,on/off switch and finally pcb
