when i turn on my pc it says pointing error device error and my my keyboard seems locked in the numbers light stays lit it says to press f1 for configuration but nothing happens
I'll just look at my crystal ball to see what PC you have. Nope its not working so I'll have to guess.
If your PC uses the standard IBM BIOS errors you have a mouse or System Board problem. Try unplugging the mouse and if that allows the PC to boot properly replace the mouse.
If you post a NEW question with more details of what the PC is some one may be able to help further.
