Hotpoint Aquarius fdw60 error codes - full list?

As I said in August 2009. we're talking about the programme lights when counting. Warning lights or progress lights things aren't programme lights and therefore don't feature. But for the avoidance of doubt 1=Intensive, 2=Normal, 3=Eco and so on.

If you read the fine manual I was referring to in conjunction with the original post it would have been very clear.

Bizarrely had a problem with an FDW60 today, and the first thing I found looking for the light codes was MY original post, which I'd completely forgotten about. It appears that in over five years, no one has done a more complete list! But FWIW I can confirm that light five blinking (ECO) does indeed relate to a flooded pan - when you undo six screws to remove it you'll see a microswitch with a block of expanded polystyrene pushing it up when it floats. But by then you'll have flooded the floor as turning it on its side is the only way to get to the bottom, and the water follows gravity.

I Have added the list of flashing light error codes to my web site at http://www.selfix-uk.co.uk. The problem with the previously correct answer, is there are (7) lights in a row on the left hand side including the rinse aid, (which should not be added when counting the lights), if you do include that light as most people would then it throws the answers off. I have included that neon when I added the faults to the data base, to hopfully make things a bit easier. Click on error codes and follow the instructions.

hi iv a hotpoint aquarious washer 6kg 1600 spin just went to use and it says child safety lock is flashing on and off wont let me use machine just keeps beeping do you know how to take this off please
