Vauxhall Astra DTI 03 electronics warning light & limp mode?

Could be throttle pedal position sensor.
It happened to me last week, nearly caused an accident.
Garage spray cleaned it in situ and it's now OK (until next time).

hi i got a zafira which is same engine and is stuck in limp mode with car spanner lit. i would say about twice in a whole month i have turned ignition on and the light goes out, start and everything is fine. can turn engine off and on and still all fine. but assoon as the key leaves the ignition the limp mode starts all over again and is stuck in it. did u find the cure to ur problem. also does any1 have any info thanks
