Mend Fisher & Paykel GW712 Washing Machine Error Code No Start

F&P GW712 has power but will not start cycle, error code?

The machine has power but will not start the wash cycle. When I switch the power on the 8 LED lights turn as a follows from left to right (on =1, off =0, flashing =2): 02111111.

When I press start the flashing light turns off and nothing else happens. I would welcome any advice as to the problem and how to fix it. Thanks

There is no error code which has one light flashing. If all these light up & one is flashing as soon as you turn power on then I would say either the main control board or the display board is faulty. Switch power off at wall & pull out the wall plug. Leave unplugged for several minutes then plug back in. If fault is still there call a technician.
