string has come out?

has the ball end broken if so replace it with a new string or you can tie it [NOT RECOMENDED} you can buy strings for about 40/50.p its better to replace it keep encourageing him to play good luck

string has come out: if I am understanding you correctly the heal of the string has come off. if so you need a new string. if however the little white peg has come out you can purchase a new peg at a music store. look in your local phone book for the nearest music store they should be able to help you. or you could just go to the band director at your sons school.
