We have Ford Mondeo 2002 2.0 TDCi. The injectors should be recoded, but we've got confused because from different data we got different order of cylinder position.
In what order they should be counted - from the pulley or from the gearbox?

buy a can of easuystart from a garage or motor factors.remove air filter.while helper turns engine over,u spray SMALL pulses into the engine intake hose.if engine coughs and trys to start,the chances are the mechanicals are working and u have a fault in the fuel delivery system.fuel tank/lines/filter/or cut of solonoid.if no response to easy start then mechanical fault.timing belt/camsahft/valve/or head gasket.the only time they coeside is when motor will not start because head gasket has blown in which case easystart will get maybey 2 cylenders to run only.with carefull pulsing of gas it is possible to actually get the motor tickover without any diesel.if u can do this then definatly fuel supply.see above.
