Mend Epson R300 Printer Ink Cartridge

no print?

Epson r 3oo suddenly stopped printing in black. cartridge replaced. When called to print, paper comes out blank.
any ideas please ?

Epson Epson R300 Computers, Printers Printer Ink Cartridge

I am not familiar with this one but u have taken off the seal that covers the print cartridge head ?Failing that take out cartridge & clean the contacts on cart & printer where they meet.Let me know how u get on.
