I currently have a very similar problem - my ip2000 was not printing with black ink, but changing the print head alignment did help. However, it is still very streaky, and I now seem to have the same problem for the colour cartridge (one or two colours won't print). The printer was kept in the loft for a couple of months over summer, I wonder if that had anything to do with it...
