Mend Renault Kangoo Van Starting Problems

Renault Kangoo Van starting problems when cold?

Hi, I am hoping someone may point me in the right direction before i get my pants pulled down by a garage, past couple of mornings i have noticed that it has become harder to start my deisel van being a kangoo, i replaced the battery 2 months ago so i know it cannot be this, it is turning/ power from the battery but it just seems to take around 5/6 times turning the key when cold, if someone can help me i would appreciate this very much

hi brought my husband a 2003 Renault diesel 1.5 van starting problems is this a common fault ? new battery .new glow plugs ,fuel pump ,new air filter oil change etc still the same ,could it be the relay or the garage said it could be the key ??any ideas

renault kango has coolant light flashing .coolant tank is full when checked van shaking and slugish

I had this problem and it was the small black relay it
by the battery box under a black plastic cover ...hope this helps

i have had the same problem,i changed the heater plugs all four need to be replaced

my renult did not start at all, even did not send current to fuel pump and ignition coils, i ve tried to check the brain box and immobilizer

where are the relays that control the ignition / start-up of the kangoo van.? any terminology that would be useful.?

i had relay problems had them all replaced and fine now

You need to get the glowplugs checked out - diesels don't like starting without them. Check for 12v supply at the glowplugs as you turn the ignition key - no power here usually indicates a relay fault.
