Mend Indesit WM12X Washing Machine Flashing Reset

I have a problem with an Indesit WM12X dial keeps turning?

The dial keeps turning. I have tried to reset it but it just keeps happening. The on-off lamp comes on and off twice then flashes 3 times quickly and then goes back to going on and off all the time. Any ideas? Thanks

Had the same problem with my WD125T.

I turned the device off for half a day and when I turned it back on it worked fine, the dial stopped spinning.
Been working fine for 4 months now.
