flashing light on becko washing machine but doesnt work?

after power surge. lights on machine are on,start button keeps flashing,but nothing working, reset dial back to o still not working,

Have tried this tried other plug socket changed fuse and left iff for two hours and still not turning on

switch on and then press and hold the start button for 5 seconds.see if it resets.if not you have a problem that needs diagnosing
