I have a Roper washing maching?

It will go through all of the cycles but will not drain the water.

If you haven't gotten it fixed by now... here's a site that helped me out. My Whirlpool did this same thing, except it didn't spin either. With the help of the site, I diagnosed that it was just the lid switch. Only cost me $21.99 and a couple hours (including drive time to the parts store). Hope this helps.
