Hoover TC650 Dryer the filter light stays on and there is no heat??

I did the same as AKC for his TV630 - it was the Thermal fuse (184 degrees) on black wires of heater element at back of machine.
Remove rear silver cover.
Disconnect all 4 wires in side machine - wires have thermal covering. Replacfement fuse from maplin - code RA19V - cost 59 pence. Crimp (best ot to solder) new one in.

mine as done the same thing, had the repair man this morning and its the heating element that was replaced. The filter light stays on because the element has failed he told me. He removed the metal plate at the back of the machine and replaced the element behind that. hey presto working fine again. He nver even went inside the dryer. He left me the box that the new heating element came in and it just says heater 24 kw. Hope this helps.
