Filter Care Light is on Hoover TV630 Tumble Dryer?

Just like to add that I bought a replacement Hoover tumble dryer heater etc, followed above instructions, and it's working again.

You need to order a new heater element and therostat ( same unit), only about £35, and fitting is very easy- undo the screws to the rear silver cover, this exposes the element which is held in by two screws. The next bit is a bit fiddly but just be slow and patient. Disconect the old unit, then connect the new- just push fit connections. Then screw back on cover and job done.

the filter light staying on constantly is almost certainly a sign that the heater element is not working.the filter light is wired through the element and if the element is faulty a signal is passed up to the filter warning light.this causes the warning light to stay on constantly.
