how to change works word to just word?

done work at home on Works Word{xp} comp at work will not recognise works word when i transfer it. Itsays unable to read.

"t" misspelled. You want to save your document to ".rtf", or Rich Text format.

For a better option, try using OpenOffice to create documents, instead of Works. It can save directly to Microsoft Office format, and it can do lots of cool stuff that Works can't.
