How do I change a zone from instant to timed. Accenta G4?

Manual seems straightforward. Set up programme 2 with the pir as final with a timed exit and entry. All other detectors as instant alarm but the front door also as entry/exit. This allows other authourised users to come in at silly o`clock.

Many thanks for suggestions but zzzzzzzzz is corrrect I am trying to make zone 2 final entry on going to bed and entry for getting up but followed instructions in manual and alarm goes off instantly.

Are you setting it up as a "Prog 2" suite, whereby zones take on different characteristics on the "Prog 2" setting?
If so, it is essential that the setting mode is programmed or the rest of the programme will not work.
Alarm Expert is so right about the number of mistakes in the engineers manual - very poor attention to detail by the manufacturer.

and for the benifit of ken,that means zone two will be switched off upstair while all other zones will be active

Perhaps he means final exit on going to bed and entry getting up.

There is many mistakes in the G4 manual, and flaws in the software!!

Are you trying to make it Timed (first zone on entry)? or Time Inhibit (ingnors you on entry)?
