Mend Simpson Esprit 45S651D Washing Drum Appliance

a nail between the outer and inner drum?

a nail is trapped between the outer and inner drum on my Simpson Esprit 45S651D front loading machine. Older machines had the fins screwed in place and you could simply remove one and extract the item. Is there a simple way of extracting the nail?
