Air Conditioning Peugeot 306?

Every Air/con related question on here take note..... Change the air/con pressure sensor. it sit in the receiver drier, it has a brown plug in it with 4 wires. Right next to the sight glass that allows you to see the air/con gas.

I have a 2000 puegeot 306, the a/c is only coming through the vents when i let the wind blow directly from the controls but i can't adjust the temperature or the strength of the air. When i change to for it to circulate and the vents close i get no a/c at all. Both fans are working and the pipes are freezing. What can the problem be?

I have a peugeot 307, the ac in it is not cooling, there is a wind coming out but warm. May i know why? and may i know the normal setting for the AC?

my air con wont turn off and no matter how much you turn it down it just continuosly blows hot air in its a 306 meridian

Hi guys, i work in a motor factors and also have a 306, if u open the bonnet and look on the right hand side towards the bulk head you'll see a plastic cover held down by torx screws, size T15, take that off, remove the housing and in it you'll see a filter, its the pollen or cabin filter, looks like a air filter, if thats filthy, change it coz that will affect the air conditioning, a lot of mechanics and garages never change it when doin a service, it should be changed every service as often as the other filters, it should hopefully solve the problem if the aircon still doesnt work after re-gassing it, them filters usually range between 7 to 11 pounds

I have a 306 1.8 Sedan, my AC stopped working and I have been changing parts to get it fixed but nothing seems to be working. I changed the Dryer bottle, Condenser, check and service Evaporator then pressure test the system. Each time replaced the gas but my AC is still not blowing cold. Is there anything else I can check?

I have a 94 peugeot 306 cabriolet, I cannot open the roof, there is power to the consol switch but nothing happens.

This is probably a bit late in the day but the AC will only work if the refrigeration level is high (enough gas in the system). Otherwise even though the light comes on in the car when you push the AC button in pressed the compressor won’t engage to operate the AC. The main reason for this is because if the gases are low the compressor could seize due to lack of lubrication.

P.S you MUST run the AC at least every month for about ten minutes so the system maintains its pressure. Otherwise the seals will slowly let the gases release out.

I have just had the air-conditioning system re-gassed only to now find that no cool air is blowing into the passenger cabin. The fan is not working. My car is a Peugeot 306 cabriolet, 1996 model. Can this be a faulty compressor,electric fan blowing cold air into the passenger cabin or what? The light on the a/c button illuminates when pushed "on". I do not use the car much and the current mileage is only 30,000 miles! (ie approx 3000miles per year. It stays in the garage over the Winter.

It could be the refridgerant level is low. Does it sound like the system is trying to 'click in' when you press the ac button?
