no hot air in peugeot 306 xsi?

many thanks .. i have just removed the top hose from the engine side and put the hose inside and flushed .... there seemes to be no resistance and the water flowes out of the engine side !!!! when the engine is running both hoses seem to get hotter than the rad ones but there is only a slight bit of warmth out of the blower ??? the engine temp stayes about 85 any ideas most appreciated

take off both heater pipes going into bulkhead and put hosepipe through top one on a fast flow setting and see if water comes out of bottom pipe. might be all brown and rusty.
