Peugeot 306 heating not working?

Hi all,

I have a 1.4 petrol 306. The heating is not currently working, the blowers work fine but its just blasting out cold air.

I've so far checked the coolant level which was fine so I removed and checked the thermostat, also fine.

Checked the hoses, the main hose from the rad to the engine is very hot howeve the next hose that leads to the heater matrix is cold.

Any ideas??

you may need to bleed the system. unscrew one bolt on stat housing next to the sensor and a plastic screw at the back left hand side. do all this whilst the engine is running.
