Mend Toshiba Help Player Exactly Hello

Toshiba SD-43HK Help Desperatley Needed!!?

When i turn on the dvd player i get exactly: Hello .... Protection .... Goodbye. within about 10 sec. cannot turn it on at all!
How do i either reset the DVD player to factory settings without turning on ... or how do i get rid of this bloomin protection message on start up!?!

The dvd player has locked itself. I had the same problem, I phoned toshiba and they told me to take it back to the shop I bought it from (Richer sounds) and tell them a code they gave me. Richer Sounds then exchanged the device for me.
