Mend Thomson Lyra Stopped Green Light

how to fix my Thomson Lyra?

my new MP3 player all of a sudden stopped working.it only displays a green light for a second or so when swicthed on.when connected to the USB port, it displays the name THOMSON and nothing more!its been like that for over an hour now.its the Thomson lyra, 526 MB model.can some body plzzzzzzzz help me fix this problem???

Not sure about your model - I have a 20 gig version - it sometimes freezes. There is a small hole near the bottom on one side. a pin or straightened paper clip pushed into this hole resets the software - and it unfreezes and turns on - might be worth a try?
