running problem with sears craftsman 7.75 HP snowthrower?
I have a 7.75 HP sears craftsman snowthrower with an INTEK engine. The snowthrower runs fine for about 30 minutes but then it dies and won't restart until it has been sitting awhile. This happens if I try to remove snow and its is still snowing out or the engine gets a lot of moisture on it. This problem does not occur all the time
I had a similar problem which I think I cleared up by using a gas stabilizer every other tank of gas. It took out the moisture and freed up the gummy residue from sitting. I tried a new spark plug and did all the usual maintenance and the gas stabilizer seemed to help me. Over all this Blower 88775 is a great machine. Sears told me that it was not electrical so I tried everything pertaining to the fuel and carberator.
Good Luck and I hope this helps you.

That sounds like a failing ignition coil, but first check to see that the fuel fill cap vent holes are clear. If their plugged up you'll get the same symptoms.
