How to stop vac belt sliding off?

How do I change Kenmore canister vacumm belt?

1 try new belt
2 check for belt adjustment screws(tightening)
3 check wheels/pulleys that belt drives, are running straight ie motor drive cog, brush cog, look for loosness in parts that spin ie bearings
3 turn it upside down(so you can see the brush cylinder)and have a good look at it. run it ps dont put your fingers in!!!
4 something is pushing the belt off line
5 hard to say without seein it but happy hooverin!
