To be honest, the best thing to do with this model is throw it away, it is very cheap and nasty, I have worked on this model and I wouldn't bother wasting my time buying parts for it if it were mine.
The build quality is dreadful the heating side of things is bad, the drier in my oppinion is dangerous, especialy if you have small children, they can open the door easy and can burn themselves as the drum gets very hot.
However you can buy a replacement thermal fuse for pence from a good supplier or Maplins, remember to buy new crimps and then refit, DO NOT SOLDER IN PLACE, this will solve your problem, if the on off switch isn't working you will need a new curcuit board, which is about £20 and fits behined the front panel. If it is making a noise when the drum is turning it will be the ceramic bush which holds the rear part of the drum in place, you can make a temporary repair by removing the drum (remove the whole of the front panel and dont forget to undo the 2 screws that hold the top and bottom part of the fluff filter housing in place which is situated behined the front panel) and turning the bush around (the bush is held in place by 2 screws) which will last a few months, but even fitting a new one will only last a few months as well, as they are pants, so get rid and buy a decent machine is my advice!

Yes, I had the same problem, the thermal cut out gone open circuit, it must be a 'guarantee trip' which trips just as the warrenty expires.

i've had the same probs with my tv630 dryer and i think i've found the problem ................if u have checked and found the two thermostats r in good working order and the heater is in good order....your problem is in the black wire leading from the heater thermal switch to the actuall heater. because at the end of this wire there is a resistor attached to it . you will find this has burnt out thus the filter light will come on and stay on.. thus disconnecting the heating element.... to get round this probkem just simply bypass the resistor by bridging it and it WILL work perfectly

The thermal cut-out link will be open circuit on the heating element, you will need a new heating element,it comes complete with thermostat and cut-out and is easy to fit.
