Iron heats up but no steam comes out?

Hello, I have a Bosch TDS2510/01 steam iron. When switched on both on button and steam button is on and lights are on. Iron heats up but no steam comes out of the iron when the button is pressed. The water container is full. I turn the steam setting from 3-1 and back again. We always use distilled water.

Had the same problem with my Tefal, was told never to put descaler in my iron, glad I ignored that information, put oust descaler in one in the water tank and one in the base left for about an hour, son in kitchen having a sauna with the amount of steam coming out of it now, worked a wee treat
