azur iron ?

I have one of these - if the iron is left in the upright position for seven minutes the heating element is switched off and a blue light flashes - when you pick it up it starts to heat again.

If your iron flashes the blue light but does not heat up when you move it then the element is very probably broken - in which case buy a new iron.
