Mend Hoover Dryer Condenser

My hoover tumble dryer condenser unit will not fit back in dryer?

I took out my condenser unit as usual to clean under tap now it will not sit back in flush to enable me to clip it back in....so frustrating cannot see anything that is hindering...please help
