Mend Hoover VHC 180 Noise Started

Hoover condenser dryer VHC 180 making noise?

My dryer has started to screech and when i empty the water tank there is a pile of black dust on one of the corners of the tank. Why is this happening and how do i repair it i have a 5 years parts but Hoover want me to pay £170 insurance to fix and it did not cost as much but is only 2year old can anyone help please thank you.

Just to let anyone else with same trouble know and save them money.
Got an engineer round he claims all is normal so and cost me £20.
Hoover told me not to use as it was unsafe but nothing has happened yet fingers crossed.
