GBC Ultima 65 Smells Hot, Like It's Burning?

hi fix these machines all over the pittsburgh area, sorry for the delay answering this, I got slammed with calls.

theres a potentiomer on the main board that adjusts the temperature. but it rarely needs adjusted.

harbor freight sells a heat sensing gun for around 35 bucks. it has a laser pointter built in. the body of the red heat rollers should be around 280 degrees. the nip of red rollers around 300 degrees.

but right nowthe film from seemingly all suppliers is coming from china.

some of it smells like its way too hot, even when the mahine is at normal temperature.

so your machine may be fine, the temperature fine, may just be smelly film
