Hoover Vision HD VHC381-80 condenser dryer keeps cutting out?

I have been given a Hoover Vision HD VHC381-80 condenser tumble dryer. It switches on , will start , run, and heat up for a while ,then stops, starts itself again, runs for another few minutes and then stops again. The filter care light flashes and the start light comes on. It wont start again for a while even if you turn the machine off and on again. We have checked and cleaned the filter, condenser, and emptied the water tank, but it still does the same.
