how can i fix my jones 641 sewing machine?

i turn my machine on and it starts without even pressing the pedal

I cant get the needle to pick up the bobbin thread think it might be a timing issue as I've tried everything. How do I fix this.??

open foot pedal and find electronic unit connecting between incoming wires,its called a noise suppressor,remove and problem solved
