Mend Hotpoint WMA 62P Washing Machine Drum Bearing

On Hotpoint WMA 62P drum bearing sizing?

I read Danny boy's answer in fitting new drum bearings to the Ultima Extra WMA 62P and am going to give it a go. But how can I tell (without dismantling) the diameter of the bearing? I uderstand there are two sizes. This is because I am a long way from any spares centre and it could end up in pieces for a week!
