Peugeot 207cc auto problem?

Does anyone know if a warning sign -- Invalid value during manual operation means is the car ok to drive?

Quite normal during manual operation. This symbol is displayed if a gear is not engaged correctly
(selector between two positions). Doesn't it tell you that in your owners manual?
