peugeot 206 1.4 auto?

have had the same problem with the gearbox snow and sport lights flashing loss of power rectifies when engine is turned off and restarted took into peugeot end october 2009 where they did a diagnostic check and replaced hydrolic block to the gearbox adjusted ball blade and multifunction switch cleared fault codes and carried out engine and gearbox ecu download also replaced oil 4 months on and the same problem has reappeared took it into peugeot and now they say it is now the gearbox and needs new im not convinced think they are trying to pass the buck any advice anyone

Peugeot 206 Vehicles, Cars Peugeot Lights Flashing

I have peugeot 307cc 2.0L 2005 with automatic gear box.
I have had problems with gear box every year since i bought it !
I have ' not' been told by the service manager- my local P dealer that there is a fault with auto gear boxes and P will not do recall as they not admitting it.
I have contacted head of customer services and due to evidence of probs every year they have agreed to fix it if it goes wrong again.
I was getting frustrated before as each time the gear box dies it was always approx 4-6 after the years warranty !!
P put new gear box in after my long evidence list but only out of 'good will ' However I had to pay 10% !!
I will never by a French car again. A VW gear box lasts a lifetime!
P wont admit it but it is fault with the automatic gear boxes.

You probably didn't need the valve block. There is a possibility that the manual valve is not quite aligned correctly. The switch may also be off position. Get codes read as it may be simple job. For specialist www.fedauto.co.uk
