Mend Water Fill Top

Water Saver switch?

When I set the washer to high on the water saver it will fill all the way up to the top of the washer. Do you think that the switch is bad on the washer our is there other things that I can try to fix this ?. There was never a problem with this washer before today. Please help if you can thanks.
