Electrical fault 2005 Primera Diesel?

primera? electrical nightmare,i'v got one.the air bag solution is as follows:
1 turn off stereo & ignition
2 turn on ign
3 as soon as air bag light light flashes,turn off ign
4 wait for 6 seconds then repeat steps 2&3 twice more.
5 turn on ign for 2 secs,then turn off
6 wait 1 sec turn on ign.
this will reset airbag system,might need a few trys to get it right.the engine light may go out when you run a self diagnostic.:
turn on ign,turn off ac& stereo, press and hold info button whilst turning volume knob, this will allow access to hidden menu to perform the test. not sure about abs,but a battery disconnect for a few hours may do it. let me know how you get on.
