Mend Hoover Six 1200 Washer Banging Spin

Hoover six 1200 washer dryer and a loud banging noise?

Our washer/dryer gets very noisy towards the end of its spin cycle .A loud banging noise almost deafens us. the clothes still wash/dry but the belt comes off intermittantly.Nothing appears to be loose inside.Does anyone have any advice?
