Mend Hood Extractor Fan

Cooker hood extractor fan keeps cutting out ?

We have an integrated cooker hood with twin fans and it keeps cutting out, at first I thought it was the fan motor burning out but we have tried both fans separately and it still happens, now I am wondering if it is the little control box any suggestions.

are the fans hot to touch when they kick out? internal heat overloads on them not fixable. is outside vent open ,clear of debris,bird nest, wasp nest,even mice.usually something simple like that. the are pretty reliable.clean fans and motors?
