Mend Cooker Hood Extractor

Power failure?

The light has gone out on the cooker hood. The extractor fan is also not working. A new bulb has proved no use. Is there some other explanation?

hi , sounds like fuse gone in spur connection powering the hood, should only be a 3 amp ,sometimes the bulb blowing takes fuse out . turn power off to electrical supply if dismantling m8. cheers. ps , otherwise i would say on /speed switch is broken in side.
