Mend Beko TDC32 Tumble Dryer Push

Tdc32 tumble dryer NO START?

Hi unit above just stop working. All the usual functions activate. But when I push the start button there is a click but drum does not turn. Oddly the water light glows (tank empty) I suspect the start relay but would like any advice please

Hi Westy Thanks for the swift reply, no response I am afraid. The drum seems tight so I am presuming the belt is intact. However I cannot see the belt at all.

check the float chamber at rear of the machine it gets clogged up with fluff and the float sticks down
turn mains off before working on the machine
the float chamber is the grey unit at bottom right of machine you will see two hoses go into it

lid off.check belt.if ok start the tumble then CAREFULLY push the drum by hand avoiding electrics and mechanical moving parts.if it starts to rotate suspect motor start capacitor faulty
