iwould hazard aguess the motor capacitor has failed.

Check this is right for your particular machine.
It wil lbe underneath near the motor.
unplug the machine, locate the capacitor.
Pull off the terminations, noting which ones go on separate terminals
Unbolt the capacitor
Bolt in new one
Reconnect terminations
Test
Curse because you forgot to plug in and turn on
Try again.
Reconnect wires
