new alternator is charging battery but i got no wipers?

Hi i put new alternator in van its charging battery ok put i have no wipers working ,headlights,heater, not working tank guage and dash light works when i turn key but goes out again . Alternator is not same make as old one and theres an extra spade connector on it i know its the alternator but i dont no what to do The extra spade is puzzling me what do i connect that to thanks for any help jj
