Mend Mercedes-Benz Vito 05 Alternator Battery Charging

merc vito battery light on dash?

hi, i have just had a recon done on a vito 05 alternator,the battery light goes off when starting engine as normal then a few seconds later comes on and stays on ,but the battery seems to be charging??any help

the battery light only comes on if there is a problem with the charging system in the resister pack inside an alternator. Take the vehicle to whoever reconed the alternator and get them to sort it out at their expense
